STANARDSVILLE, Va. (April 20, 2017) – Beth Murphy has been named the resident care director of Renaissance Assisted Living and The Harbor at Renaissance, premier senior living communities serving the Charlottesville, Va., area.

Prior to her position at Renaissance and The Harbor, Murphy served as a LPN Charge Nurse at sister community, Grace Health and Rehab Center of Greene County, since March 2015.

Murphy received her Licensed Practical Nurse degree from Triplette Technical School in Mount Jackson, Va., and later continued her education at Blue Ridge Community College in Weyers Cave, Va.

As resident care director, Murphy will oversee the care of residents, assess residents’ level of care needs, and manage the caregiving staff at both Charlottesville, Va., area senior living facilities.

“I have worked in skilled nursing for over ten years, and I believe that working in this field and with this generation is my calling in life.
